Activity Description

Drums is ancient tradition used for communication between tribes and have been played in Africa for
thousands of years. So come and enjoy a fulfilling experience of African drumming in the heart of the
Magaliesburg Valley. Each participant receives a hand crafted D jembe drum to play. Sessions are
designed to build team spirit and learn basic sound rhythms as symphonic soothing. Different rhythms
will be experienced as the team build up to one rhythm. The facilitator will then build the rhythm
level by level, until they are beating out harmonic African rhythms as a group.
The interactive drum experience is the is a popular choice to your conference opening/closing, break
away time or boma braai (barbecue).
